Sheh-Ren received her architectural education in University Malaya, Kuala Lumpur. Part of her final year thesis involved a conservation research project sponsored by UNESCO (LEAP); Community Participation in Waqf Rehabilitation, Kapitan Keling Mosque and surrounding areas, George Town, Penang, Malaysia.
Upon graduation, she joined C’arch in 2000. She obtained her APAM membership in 2007. She was appointed Director in 2011 following eleven years of architectural experience with C’arch.
She has worked on a variety of projects from factories, retail, offices, master planning, strata landed houses, low and high-rise residential medium and luxury condominiums. Sheh-Ren has led project teams on several notable works including Iringan Hijau, Garden Manor, The Mansions and The Breezeway.
She enjoys looking into new design innovations, material usage, building detailing and human behaviors in the built environment. In her spare time, she juggles between her young family, reading, diving and volunteering in the Children Ministry at Bangsar Lutheran Church.
