C’arch Architecture + Design
Earlier in the year, we had the opportunity to collaborate with Mr Yap Hong Ngee on "The Beautiful Book" project - a competition scheme for the Taichung Museum of Fine Arts in Taiwan.
Intrigued and impressed by his approach and insights, Mr Yap kindly acceded to our request to tell us about his view of art as well as his inspirations and thoughts behind his works.
The highlight of the evening was a Chinese inkbrush painting demonstration, depicting his signature eurasian sparrows. This was followed by a collaborative group-piece, contributed by various members of C'arch.
We look forward to many future collaborations with Mr Yap.
