Located in the heart of Langkawi, the proposed Lubuk Semilang Resort comprises 220 tropical riverine chalets, six walking trails and a wellness village on a proposed 226-acre ecological zone.
The resort’s planning and architecture of riverine chalets are in tandem to minimize ecological footprints, and addressing the zone’s stringent allowance for ultra-low density, temporary structures, nature activities only, low noise and no vehicular access.
It is a project seeking fundamentals of sustainability whilst accounting ecological, social and ethical issues.
