C’arch Architecture + Design
This 6.8m sqft mixed-use development consists of office, residential, retail, hotel, medical and culture facilities. In contrast to many mixed-use developments in Kuala Lumpur of this scale, the proposal places all publicy accessible facilities such as the car parking and retail in subterranean underground space, creating a park landscape at street level which covers the entire 8 hectare site. This enable multiple pedestrianized connections across the site and into the wider urban infrastructure. The scheme also introduces a deep diagonal cut across the site into the ground for the main thoroughfare into retail and cultural facilities. Dubbed the 'Bangsar Cut', it will become the new retail and cultural destination of Kuala Lumpur.
