Little Houses

Aspired from the traditional malay house design, the whole Little Houses were broken into smaller spaces/ pavilions that are attached together with green pockets in between. This house, similar to the traditional Malay house, is raised on stilts. We are thinking the main structural members will be steel, cladded with timber panels. Lower Level serves as maintenance and service program of the house. All the main spaces and rooms are on the Upper Level. The skeleton of the building will protrude and hold the main body of the building, to keep the perception of a floating volume. These outer timber screens envelope the side of the building, for privacy.
